All those options for hair color or eye color or whatnot, and there's no color options for the "clothes"? Not even a simple color wheel? hope there's some free updates later.

Has anyone else noticed the pop-up guide (which works great, btw, love it) looks a little 'fuzzy' over component at 1080p? (yes, my tv supports 1080p over component). Not dramatically off, just a smidgeon of blur, as if one was wearing dirty spectacles. (also, more glasses options, please).

was wondering who we could petition to get more ethnic hairstyles?

i fully understand that EVERYONE wants more options for clothes, shoes, hats, hair styles and etc no matter what your ethnicity!!

...but..but it would be nice if ethnic hairstyles/features were not forgotten (*except of few bones tossed here and there)

just cruising through the xbox forums and looking at the gamercards supports my positions that everyone sort looks the same because of a lack of ethnic hairstyles and/or features.

In the interview that I did with Xbox 360’s Aaron Greenberg I asked him about how wild Avatar customization can technically get and was stoked to find out that Avatar parts developers can have custom code, animations, animation bones, geometry. So there is nothing technically stopping an avatar parts developer from making animated wings, flaming skulls and robotic cyborg parts. I have a feeling that Avatars are going to get much more wild than they currently are in this first initial batch of offering.

So yeah more hair styles would be cool but I want flaming skull recon armor for my Avitar.

Also I want a Avatar photo editor that can take high resolution rendered images of an avatar in different settings and then export it to the web (like what Rockband2 and Rockband.com can do and Halo 3 and Bungie.net).

i certainly do not have a problem for more extravagant accessories as it allows people to be more expressive.

...but when the new batches of updates come out for accessories I just don’t want ethnicity to be pushed too far down the list.

so far, 5 of my friends have created avatars and guess what? they all look the same because in reality only 2 hairs choices can be used (2 more can be used but they are niche hairstyles) i think the female hair styles are fine but the male selections are quite limited.

when others on the forums talk about hey it looks like me we would like to say the same thing too.


The NXE update has been fantastic and keep up the good work, as I have been an xboxer for 5+ years now!!

According to an ad on the NXE there are going to be new Avatar outfit and style releases every two weeks for the next six months.
