I can hear the groans from the peanut gallery now for that title. Ohh yeahhhhh.

Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, head on over to www.spore.com where they have a trial version of the Creature Creator for you to download.

The trial version gives you just enough options to make visually amazing beasts. You can choose from various head shapes (with attached mouth), ears, eyes, horns, wings, tails, etc. The interesting part is that your starting "blob" has a spine and by manipulating it, you can come up with a variety of different body shapes. I'm sure my dude's BMI is not within normal range.

Once you're done with the physical attributes, you can then go check out some of the smooth moves afforded to your creature. There are some *interesting* dance steps as well as something that's supposed to "pick up the ladies". Not content with just looking at it yourself? You can also take and share photos, videos and animated avatars with friends through email and uploads to the Spore server. It adds a little joy to a hard day at work. Try it!
