So, when are we going to hear something on the Spring update, anyway?  ;)

And while I'm pretty much a loyal 360 customer, I am very disappointed that there isn't anything being done about the DRM issues according to Shane Kim.  If this is true, could someone please educate the high brass that they're losing money from loyal customers like myself that want to upgrade machines and download (lots) of content but won't because I won't be able to play it offline.

I hope it sorts out the problem of Xbox Live taking ages to login that has been apparent since the last update.

Your solution is to call Microsoft support and work your way up through the piles of steamy curry and demand your console be re-registered with the new serial number (because they were too lazy to do it at the repair center).

Oh, and something that takes probably two seconds to do somehow takes 30 days for Microsoft "call center" people to figure out.

it takes longer then 30 days, I've been calling support for almost 2 months now to get my games that I bought with my money to work on all my gamertags.  My games only work on my main gamertag, it sucks and it pisses me off.

It’s good that they are getting ready for the rush of new console owners who are going to get an Xbox 360 to play GTA IV.

I do hope that there is a fix to the DRM migration issue. I am planning on upgrading my “Xenon” Xbox 360 to a newer system later on this year and I have a LOT of DLC content that would be a real pain to migrate over and redownload piece by piece..

GameDaily.com spoke to Shane Kim about the DRM and he responded.

Use the method described here to fix DRM:

It does involve redownloading your DLC item by item, but it's all in the download history.

Only six items at a time. I have bought a lot of DLC and that would take a long time to re-bless the DRM in it all 90 XBLA games that I purchased. I am not looking forward to re-downloading the three Xbox Originals titles and the HDTV shows that I've purchased.

I believe that the best implementation of DRM should be completely invisible to normal users.

@borandi its not that simple.  and that doesn't always work like that as it didn't for me.

Steve519, going through the same issue.  Maybe I should call tomarrow to see even if they started the process. Its been about a month now.

That's why they suggest you ring the number (if you're US based) so they can properly transfer the console numbers over.

Yeah I still have 50+ arcade games to do it on, but I keep flipping back and forth between my UK and US consoles.  If anyone else in the house wants to play the arcade titles, they know to load up my profile on the second controller (all except Puzzle Quest, I'm sure my HDD copy is playing silly buggers).

And yup, I agree with you.  It should be done behind the scenes so the user shouldn't need to do anything.

@borandi what do you think I have been doing?  MS support told me that I would get a call in no more then 45 days.  The cool this is every time I call they say they are still working on it and they will call me(they refuse to help me with it because its pending).  The cooler thing is it has been more then 45 days.  MS support is awful, sorry but it is.

My last RRoD(I'm on my 5th xbox now) took me 6 weeks start to finish, you know what I got back?  A one month free card :)

Sorry but their service skills suck, I get better service at Burger King.

DRM broken issue is pretty fine that way. I can claim a lot of free points while embarassing Microsoft. And myself.

Please make it possible to set auto power off, instead of 6 hours or never. It'd be great if it's 1/2/4/6/never.

It would be nice if the suppoted media formats in the dashboard were included in the Media Center Extender. divx/xvid etc.

Have to agree with Aries, this has something to do with GTA4. Maybe something to do with the ability to stream off of the HDD?
