Will these codes work in Canada because normal MS point cards from America do NOT and I don't want to get searching through the podcast for a code I can't use...

iHomer, the code worked in Germany ... and it was not for MS Points. Thankfully you can enter codes on xbox.com since my Xbox is M.I.A. right now. ;-)

Hey Nelson,

Question on a theme of another question asked in the latest podcast. I fully agree that Marketplace has become too cumbersome to use, i rarely search around in there for stuff. It's success is great but the UI design hasn't kept up.

Besides a date specific search i'd love for marketplace to do these two things

#1) Show me what's new relative to when the last time i logged in was. I go to What's New and it's the same stuff there day after day. it's not new to me if i've already seen it, it's old at that point.

#2) If i hit a letter on my ChatPad or USB Keyboard, i'd love for like the all games listing to just scroll down to the beginning of that letter. So if i hit G for Ghost Recon it goes down to G. I don't have to scroll through the entire list to the G's. With the success of Video Marketplace, it's even worse to find stuff in there than the games section. Having a letter hot key would help greatly.

Those two things would go a long way to bringing me back to the marketplace.

I second your post - Great ideas! Scrolling through the complete lists, either for games or vids, is a little painful.

I really dig having access to all this content, but the marketplace itself needs more cowbell.

great pod cast as usual helped me wake up before work :P I don't bother trying to get the codes now I'm never quick enough (dam UK time zone's) even though I subscribe on Itunes.

1st - new 'cast logo looks good. Nice work.

@Tank - yes, the chatpad is underutilized. More text searching would be great. scrolling is awful. Sluggish, slow - even plodding through one's list of XBLA games can be sluggish.

Would also like to see a filter for downloads just for games I've played (i.e. stuff in my profile). In my case, at least, it's likely I still have those games, so would be interested in the content for them.

Back on the textpad topic for a second - every game should give you the option to name or rename your savegame...

Aaw, you changed the podcast logo again... I really loved the last logo (with the headset microphone). It was simple, colorful, elegant and matched the video podcast feed. The new one is not quite as nice, IMO. :(
