A co-worker, Staci, forwarded over a post she found while on one of her favorite blogs, Design*Sponge.  I'm not sure if I love it because it makes me feel like less of a geek, or if it's just to remind me that there's more to the InterWebs than the videogame community.  Either way, I especially like seeing people like my friends and family (the non-gaming variety) pick up an Xbox 360 controller or guitar, and feel a bit of the same joy I get from blasting a dinosaur in Turok or getting a royal flush in Poker Smash.

rock band + chocolate buttercream cake + friends = a great time. this has nothing to do with design, but this video game has occupied so much of my personal time lately that i had to share a few scenes from ac’s 31st birthday party on saturday. if you’re into video games or music at all, i highly suggest rock band. and this recipe for buttercream frosting. delicious.
