that was really funny..

I came up with this idea for the developers/publishers.. how about unlock a free XBLA game code from the same company..? lets say if you get 1000/1000 in Assassins Creed and you unlock a free code for Prince of persia on arcade.. and ofc it doesnt need to be a triple A title.. but still.. just the idea.. and since its a code not a name.. the companies dont need to worry too much about cheating and stuff.. I think it'll atleast boost the interest for people who already got their game to play it more.. and it may helps the sells as well.. so nothing to lose right?.. make it happen.. what you guys think ?

Yeah, Psycho Harry, that's not bad. Issues would arise with the rental industry (Blockbuster, Gamefly) and used game market, but the developers/publishers don't make any money off those anyways, so probably not a big deal.

They could mitigate it by tying that to the gamertag somehow, send the code as an XBL message (like the periodic alerts from MS themselves).

I'm disappointed more games don't have free themes or gamerpics distributed with the game, even if unlockable.

I finished CoD4 on veteran with ease,what you need to realise is ...is basically that the developers are retarded and idiots.

You need to look for places or spots to rush to,what happends then is that the enemy stop respawning.
So if you get killed,retry and just rush into a place that looks intresting or special,and try standing there,and the enemy might stop respwaning.

So yeah,thats how to finish CoD games on veteran,looking for the dumb points that CoD developers putted out which prevent the A.I to stop respawn.

And no,its not at all,just being as as possibly to them.

I did find it easy to finish the TV station level using your method but I've found that I can't move more than 4 feet out of the barn on the level after One Shot, One Kill. Since it's timed, it's even more difficult. I have tried running to ditches, calling air strikes on all of the waves running at me until they stop respawning and running around the back edges but there is no path that I have found. Also, since we're running towards a goal, the AI spawns continuously along the path.

I loved COD2 on veteran. Great game, felt really fulfilled beating it on veteran, didn't get so stuck during the game that I ever just wanted to pound the power button, though that sniper grain tower level came close. :-)

COD4 has been more brutal so far. I've been stuck on the level in the night/twilight, just outside the greenhouses across from the barn by a stack of pallets, for probably ages. I just can't get to the big barn, on the way to the rendezvous point. The chopper just adds to the pain.

COD4, IMO, was the easiest for veteran difficulty out of the 3 on the 360. Sure, there were a few points that were difficult (tv station, escape to extraction), but the checkpoints were quite numerous. COD3 was much more difficult simply due to the distance between checkpoints.

I'm on the last level on Veteran for COD4, you can't just run to places where the AI spawn. On that note, what DOES suck is when find that spot (and you don't know you're in it) and leave it, then some guy spawns behind you and guns you down.

I do like the idea of unlockables connected achievement points (but not in Assassins Creed, there is no way I'm going to go looking for 500 flags)

Maybe GS could also earn MS Points?

I don't think enemies respawn in the last level.
Its the tunne/bomb thing right?

At that place you need just reflexs and use the flashbangs etc.

Anyway,good podcast.

Im still hoping some kind of epic AAA XBLA will be announced soon.

I thought all 3 were the same,some places were easy,some hard and some retarded.

The red light aim sight (reflex sight) really made it easier to aim though...

Anyway gonna pre-order Kingdom under fire circle of doom,need some relaxing hacknslash game :)

Then its DMC4 omg...
Thats gonna be a pain in the ass,DMC3 were easy but not on hard.
