Lode Runner....   I.  AM.  SO.  EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya... I was kinda a big Lode Runner fan back when I used to play The Legend Returns on Windows '95, so this is kinda a big deal for me.

Yeah, this will be a definite purchase for me, assuming you guys can get your crap fixed before then so I can actually log back into xbox live.

LODE RUNNER!!!

This might be the first computer game I played... on an Apple IIc.  I couldn't get enough of it!  At the time, it was unique because of the convincing realtime animation (a freaking running person on the screen) and the puzzles.  I still think it was groundbreaking.

Ooops.  Just remembered... this was not the first computer game I played.  That honor goes to "Adventure" -- the text-based game that was released when the first PC was released.  By Microsoft, no less.

No, no, that's not right.  I played missile command or some text-based bombs-away game on the TRS-80 in the late 70's.

No, even THAT wasn't the first computer game I played!!!  When I was a youngin' my dad brought home one of the first tape-based portable computers from IBM.  We played the text-based version of Star Trek.  I challenge anyone reading this blog to beat that.  1974 or thereabouts.  Ok Bill Gates, ante up!
