The fix for the DRM - did Microsoft elect not to include it? Or are you guys really not sure of how to do it?

It really is not that hard. Putting a control page in the System blade would take longer than the backend SQL modifications to make it work.

I agree with the season pass and search.... both of those should be added asap.

Would also like to see an overhaul of xbox.com so you can view the entire marketplace via a website and schedule things to download from the pc/xbox.com (would be real useful to start downloading things from work so they will be there waiting for you when you get home)

A subscription model for the movie section of the website (like netflix)

5.1 and 2.0 audio tags for all video content (to match the hd video tag)

I know these have been requested many times but until they are added gotta keep requesting them.

I was thinking the Dashboard reacted faster, then my wife saw it and said "wow! it's faster, what happened?". Solidified by TheWife, so it must be true. (right? ;-)

I'm not sure if I like the 'bubble scrolling' in the friends list when you go up and down.

I have to admit, after the update I went thru and looked at the FoF of a few friends...and I felt 'dirty' in doing so, like it was a forbidden thing I was doing. Then later on We were playing CoD4 and I was messing with a friend and started inviting people from his list to the game. I joked that it's a shame it doesn't say "XXX invited you from YYY's friend's list to play"...we all got a good laugh.

halo 10 out of 10? not quite that much but its a good game

well being from the gaming community, i myself have never felt like Microsoft nor any other company made me give the games high scores.  BUT, if your negative about the company it DOES, seem to ignore your emails and contacts.  So in a way you are in a way kind of asking to review games in there favor because if you don't, its simple, the company might not contact you again thus shunning you from the help from the community.

Dashboard update it seems slower for me and several others, maybe the xbox live lag is slowing it down.

+"Free Stuff" tab, (while have ass, really only in one section, its nice to see)
+Xbox Inside (should be in a different spot)
+divx/xvid support, its about time, I can now stream my porn, I mean, educational material thru my network from my mac, thanks connect360
+Arcade hits, nice to see an platinum type of thing for the arcade games

/ FOF, I'm still mixed on this.  granted it can be used as ways to have no limit on your friends list and you can group people using this.  I still have close friends and family that I don't want there gamertag out there

- the marketplace is harder to navigate
- can not build custom themes
- "Free Stuff" really only 4 things? This should be listed everywhere in the marketplace
- No groupchat NOR group video chat, the ps3 has it
- still hoping for a bigger friendslist
- still hoping for clan support
- web browser would be nice, MS does make IE
- still crappy DRM, if I own two xboxes why do I have to been over backwards to be able to play the same games as my wife on the other xbox?  Right now I have to buy games on one, and play using my GT on the other, and this sucks.  It sucks even more when you get the RRoD and you have to send your console in and none of the games work when it comes back.  Hence another reason why I will not buy an xbox original game.

oh like jagowar said, a subscription based marketplace would be nice to see and very welcome in my eyes.  Thats something that I have been asking for a very very long time when I was with XBL Radio.  Not just for movies though, one for the arcade too, like gametap

The "twitter spammer" comment was because it seemed the twitter community was hating on Friends of Friends due to privacy (and other concerns) - yet the whole basis of twitter is a public IM.

You should start what some of the other community websites are doing and that is to create a new LIVE account and name  it something like "GSB Friends" and all of the Gamerscore Blog listeners and the community can add themselfs to the "GSB Friends" friends list.

Only 200 Gamerscore Points per Xbox Live Arcade Game
Some Xbox Live arcade achievements are super hard to pull off but since each XBLA game is capped at only 200 points they don't reward you as high as they should for your time and effort. While some kids game seem to hand out Gamerscore points like it were candy on Halloween.

Full Movie Rental Expire Too Quickly
24 hours is not enough flexibility to really enjoy a movie rental and the DRM will expire and make the movie unplayable. I rented an HD version of the Anime classic Akira and I quit halfway and was going to finish it the next night. Well my girlfriend kept me busy all day and when I got back to it it was going to expire in ten minutes and I had an hour of movie to watch. I finished the movie watching my DVD disc copy. I don't see any good reason not to have a rented downloaded full length movie last at least 72 hours

The Corbis Ninja pack was pretty lame but they already had my money by the time I realized it. I know it was 80 MS points but it was quite lame. And that's another thing

Being the new host of XBLRadio, I can only go by what I have noticed. I have noticed that if you are blunt about how a game is, developers are reluctant on answering back. Atleast that is how it seems in the community I'm in compared to others. Developers need to keep open minds about community reviews. Some maybe good, some bad, or some may bring valid points up.

Us podcasters try to use what we know, what we only know, and that is, how it compares to other games. Majority of us don't have any real knowledge of game design, and the ones that might have some knowledge, may not have enough schooling to do anything with. So developers need to keep that in mind. We're just gamers giving our take on the game.

Anyways, on to the Dashboard Update:

The dashboard update seems pretty good. Like I had told a friend on messanger last night, I was giddy about it. The good things about the update are:
Quicker respones of everything
The name, bio, location features are cool
The "Free Stuff" tab was a needed addition (too bad it's only in one location, but it's a start)
The marketplace redesign is cool.
Not too sure about Xbox Inside. (maybe when more things are added to it, it will be better)
divx/xvid support, this is great! Thanks!
FoF, now we can have the larger friends list. Too bad we have to have multiple GTs.

Some of the things that I feel we could use:
Group chat
clan support (thinking FoF just took care of that)
Free Stuff on all categories
Also what Nelson said about the search option, and seasonal subscriptions.

About the Twitter FoF thing, I do apologize for not giving it a chance before I spoke.

I agree with you guys.  The new PC connectivity feature hasn't received a lot of attention, but I absolutely love it.

I hated having to go and disconnect my computer in the System Blade so I could switch from Zune (for music) to WMP (for pictures and video) or to another PC.  Now I can have a different source for every type of media as well as the ability to easily flip back and forth between the different sources.  

Great job Xbox team!
