in E3 2007 you guys promised EU the Movie marketplace at Fall,no words has been made about it yet,wtf?!

Now I can understand that it could be included in the Fall update,that would make sense...obviously but no words has been made about that update or the movie marketplace for EU for a long time now,wtf happen to it?

See, you're still fighting all the misinformation about GFW Live. I'm hesitant to think you'll ever be able to escape that.

By the way, is it a business decision (IE - we want more money) to force two people playing an online multiplayer game on Xbox Live to both have Gold accounts?

Chris, doesn't it bother you that you have to spend $100 a year so that both you and your wife can play online at the same time? I know I'd like for my wife and I to be able to play Catan or Carcassonne or Halo online together, but we can't do that without paying double apparently...

You guys are setting an awfully high bar with the Barbershop routine – We might start expecting more a cappella or some show tunes in future productions.  :-)

@AriesDog - lol.  Correct I will not confirm or deny the existance of a "Secret Project X".

@Cutriss - It depends on the game. Halo 2 doesn't need 2 gold accounts to get 2 people on LIVE.  (Not sure about H3) Carcassone has a local play vs. AI (or other players), gears does co-op locally.

If you are referring to two separate xboxes/tvs/gamertags - then I'm not sure how else you could/would do it.

Chris - I'm talking exclusively about two people playing online in any game on one Xbox. Some games don't even really support it. For example, TMNT doesn't let more than one player play online on the same 360, AFAIK. A friend of mine and I were trying to figure out how to play against a third guy in a neighboring city and we couldn't make it work.

As far as Halo 2 goes, yes, you can enter people as guests, and the same thing exists in Halo 3, but then your guest can't use his Silver account to do stats tracking, etc.

So basically, if you are playing online with HPaladino, and she had a Silver account instead of a Gold, then she would not be able to use her GamerTag and would instead have to play as CPaladino(1). Which kinda sucks.

I usually don’t post here. I try to spend most of my time playing games and not writing about them as I tend to carry on a bit. Unfortunately my launch Xbox360 console recently passed away and I am waiting for the box from MS so I have an opportunity to post on this subject.

First a little background. I have been a member of Xbox Live since the service launched. I am the only person who uses the service (no wife and kids)

That being said I am a bit surprised MS does not offer a family pack pricing schedule. With the recent push by MS to attract a more mainstream client base and the obvious attempt to go after the whole family it seems like this would be the next logical step in getting families to jump in.

While a new family pack pricing schedule would offer no benefit to me personally, I wouldn’t be offended if MS offered it to families as there certainly is a precedent for this type of offer. Families can purchase special pricing for amusement parks, movies, travel and vacation packages, etc.. which are all entertainment activities and they can even get deals on mundane items like cell phone usage. Offering some kind of deal on Xbox live would no different, and would not diminish the value proposition of the Xbox Live subscription for a single user or facilitate the need to lower the price of regular single user subscriptions to be more in line with a family pack pricing schedule

Unfortunately MS does not appear to be very flexible with pricing, reductions, discounts, etc and it seems that yes, a family of four who decides to jump in and wants to play on Xbox Live will have to pay approximately $200.00 a year in Live fees. God help them if they have 3 kids or gasp even 4 kids... I don’t want to think about it.
