That seems like it was fun (for the children).

I think Xbox is still trying to catch up to the Family Gaming Expierience. However this is a step in the right direction. The Viva Pinata Party Animals and the Scene It games should also help the push.

Perhaps now if MS would incorporate XBL Radio's KID PIX we can get some valid reviews on the games as well.

A couple years ago my girlfriend painted her bedroom the exact shade of pink as the new Xbox 360 Controller. She really has come to terms with her love of the color and all gadgets that shade of “Barbie Pink”.

I had to enter the Trix N Treats contest because I would love a Katamari “The Prince” puppet.

We don’t have any kids but we have six cats. My cats favorite Xbox game are ones that require me to sit on the couch using the normal controller so they can sit on your lap. That basically rules out Guitar Hero and games using the Hori Arcade fighting stick. They also prefer non-online games so I can pause it and give them some head scratches and attention. Xbox Live arcade games are also quite kitty friendly since I can switch games without getting the cats off my legs.

Personally I think that Xbox Live Arcade is an awesome platform for kids games. Nice and affordable too.

Can you guys confirm that this version WILL or WILL NOT work with the Hard Drive.  I think there was some confusion over this on some other sites.

All Xbox 360's work with the hard drive.  The Arcade version will as well, it's really just a gussied up Core version, which is fine by me.

As for going after the pre-teen market this is definitely a move in the right direction.  Still alot of work needed to be attractive to that age group.

I look forward to the upcoming Fall Update.  Hopefully ir includes an improved experience for non-gaming entertainment as well.  Our time using XBox is probably 5% gaming and 95% extender.

It looks like it was alot of fun.  I have to admit that picture of the little girl with the pink controller has to be my favorite.

Nice to see this type of marketing which appeals to a different range.  This is a 360 that I would tell my boss or brother to buy for their families as it has some good arcade games and doesn't start you off with a shooting genre type game that some parents may not approve for their kids.
