Urdnot Wrex quickly gained notoriety among the vast Krogan species and holds the honor of being one of the last Krogan Battle Masters, which are rare individuals that combine powerful biotic abilities with the devastating firepower of advanced weaponry. Born into the Urdnot clan, Wrex became the youngest Krogan in 1000 years to receive the honor of leading an Urdnot tribe as a youth.

Unfortunately, notwithstanding his prowess in battle and his leadership, Wrex was betrayed by his own people. The betrayal opened Wrex’s eyes to the truth about the Krogan – that most would rather die in battle than try to rebuild their society through peaceful means. Realizing the warrior culture of the Krogan that once valued courage, strength and honor, had been reduced to glorifying pointless violence, Wrex turned his back on the rest of the Krogan for good.

Over the past three centuries, Wrex has experienced all that the galaxy has had to offer and has served no master but himself, working as a bodyguard, mercenary, soldier of fortune and bounty hunter. Despite his brutish appearance, Wrex maintains a cool and calm demeanor, rarely losing his temper. He doesn’t speak often, but when he does, his words are direct and usually shockingly blunt – and people tend to listen. As a result, he usually gets what he wants and if pushed to unleash his fury, it is truly a terrifying sight.
