We've found out more about the issue with downloading the Halo 3 beta through Crackdown. The Microsoft team working on it has created a solution (it will come in the form of a Crackdown title update), and it's in final phases of testing. We're told you should see it in the next 3-6 hours. As a reminder, those not accessing the beta through Crackdown aren’t affected.

We know a lot of you have been waiting for the beta for months, and even took time off of work to start early today. We really appreciate your enthusiasm, and we hope the small delay won’t damper your enjoyment of the game. If anything changes, we'll let you know.
