Many of you are anxious for details of the Xbox Spring Dashboard Update.  We are happy to give those details!

The Spring Update will start rolling out tomorrow (May 9th)!

We've gone over the details of the update before, but just as a recap:

  • Windows Live Messenger Integration
  • More detail in the "achievement unlocked" pop-up
  • Enhanced family settings
  • New Marketplace blade
  • Enhancements to Xbox LIVE Arcade
  • Ability to fast-forward, pause, and rewind video as it's being downloaded from Marketplace
  • A setting for consoles to finish downloading content, before powering down
