Stephen Sopp, aka Fatty Chubs, one of our Xbox MVPs from 360voice.com, got a chance to help NFL Brady Quinn prepare for an upcoming Game With Fame.  Fatty went in confident, but soon learned a lesson in humility.

Brady Quinn writes in his weekly Xbox.com blog entry:

After the Pro Day, it was back to training in Arizona, but not without some more time spent with the Xbox community.

Earlier this week, I was able to spend some time with Stephen Sopp, who is an Xbox MVP. Stephen came out to Athletes' Performance to catch up with me and get in some gaming on Xbox 360™. We sat down and hit the controllers during my lunch break. I'm pretty decent at EA SPORTS™ Fight Night Round 3, so I made sure that's the game we played! Plus, Stephen had beaten the game already, so I figured at the very least I'd get some really good tips on how to beat up on my friends.

Boxing as Muhammad Ali against Stephen's Joe Frazier (I know, it might have been a bit unfair), I came out firing on all cylinders, but Stephen was able to duck and weave through a number of my combinations. The great sport that he was, Stephen taught me some special moves that sharpened my game.

After sparring for a few rounds, things got pretty intense, but eventually I got the best of Joe Frazier, knocking him out in the third round. I was pretty surprised I beat Stephen: Maybe I should give myself more credit as a gamer!

Fatty Chubs recaps the event for Xbox.com's Gamerspeak column:

A few seconds in, I learned he plays games as ruthlessly as he plays on the football field. At least he took my suggestion and "worked the body" as I took what seemed like an unending barrage of punches to the midsection, very few of which I was able to block before going down hard. I guess I was a little rusty! A couple rounds in and after my third time hitting the mat, I realized I might have underestimated him a bit, and the practice with his friends had paid off. In the end I felt like I should be forced to relinquish to him the 1000 gamerscore I earned in the game, as he beat me pretty easily.
