Next month’s Platinum Hits releases include Call of Duty 2, Fight Night Round 3, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Top Spin 2.

Next month's Platinum Hits lineup will include the following titles in the Americas, starting at an estimated retail price $29.99 (U.S.):

  • Battlefield 2: Modern Combat (Electronic Arts)
  • Burnout Revenge (Electronic Arts)
  • Call of Duty 2 (Activision)
  • Dead or Alive 4 (TECMO Inc.)
  • Fight Night Round 3 (Electronic Arts)
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Ubisoft)

  • Project Gotham Racing 3 (Microsoft Game Studios)

Glad to hear--more budget titles will help new sales of systems, get more users online, and will get me to pick up one or two of those titles now. :)

Now, if something could be done about fixing all of the woes XBLA have with releasing titles and our minuscule 20GB hard drive problem...then Microsoft is in the catbird seat again.

Ignoring the fact that I own all those titles (in all regions as a matter of fact), I'm a little disappointed to see such minor drops in the "budget" releases.

Especially since a title like Top Spin 2 can easily be found for under $20.

On a side note, the Platinum release of Fight Night has shown up around here recently. Did they break the street date? Or are they newer shipments just the platinum releases?

What about Call of Duty 2? Is it the Game of the Year edition or just the regular version?

Wasn't Table Tennis already $30. Heck, I remember Best Buy had it on sale for $20 over the winter holidays. I came close to buying it but the season was stretching my budget already.

Good variety of games.  I already have most of them, but the others I'll probably get eventually.  Table Tennis is a good title for the platinum hits line since some stores already sell it for $29.99.
