Awesome, I can't wait. I have a feeling that everyone else may not be as happy as I am though. Awesome about the added multiplayer!

OH MY FREAKING GOD!  Awesome news.  GAME OF THE YEAR 2007.  No, I'm being serious.  Paper boy has been the most anticipated game in the Jaken Bear household since last year.  Now I really am never going to get my 360 back from my girlfriend.  GOW, Rainbow and VP we already shared but now this.  THANKS and here is a tip for the game - "look out for that stupid Blonde lady and her evil sisters when you cross the road  - she is drunk and well over the legal limit!".

Paperboy is really fun.  I especially liked the Nintendo 64 version that was in 3D (but I'll probably have to look to the Wii Virtual Console for that one).  XBox Live Coop sounds fun!  Looks like a possible 200 points closer to the 1500 challenge!

Yey Paperboy! *smashes head repeatedly against brick wall*

I predict next week will be Luxor 2, another game that I would sooner smash my face in with a brick than pay good money for.

Paperboy stole so many quarters.  It'll be nice to relive that one!  I've been waiting for this one since I first saw it months ago.

Digital Eclipse/Midway has put out nothing but garbage. They should be barred from the arcade.

Of the ten games announced, I'm looking forward to 5 of them.  Castlevania, Worms, Catan, Band o' Bugs, and Alien Hominid.

Does this mean I'll have to wait for Luxor, Eets, and minigolf before I get to spend my points.  I hope not.

Any chance of someone either fixing or refunding us for the broken mess that is Assault Heroes online Co Op that flat-out fails to work?

To all of the PAPER BOY haters out there.  Cease and desist with the hate immediately ;)   PAPER BOY is the greatest game ever made... ever.  You need to learn to appreciate the classics and relax a bit.  I am excited about Worms and SOTN too, but sometimes you need to take a step back, breathe a little, and realize that patience can be a virtue.  See, now you have something to look forward to next week.

I'm guessing this was ported from the arcade not from a console port.  It'll be interesting to see if the glitch is in there, that would be awesome.

here's the thing - paperboy is a great game. There's no question that it's a classic..... there's also no question that classics have been ruined when ported to the XBLA. Buggy controls and design flaws ruin many of the arcade ports that have made their way to the XBLA. I expect no less from paperboy.

I would love nothing more than to see some more original content, or even some of the more high profile ports (worms, castlevania) come to the xbla. I'd also love to see a week where there is more than one release.... .It's pretty clear that MS is holding back on releases - sonic was announced for the arcade around the launch of the 360.... do you really expect me to believe it's taken this long to bring a 16bit genesis game to the xbla? It's time to start expanding the arcade... hell, even try a week with multiple releases... you'll be happy with the results.

Hey guys, maybe stop releasing old 8-bit ports (no offense, Midway) and port something newer.

If you want retro stuff, get creative and bring games from underappreciated systems like the Jaguar or the Lynx (Blue Lightning?) or the TG-16 (Bonk's Adventure) or even some NeoGeo action (Fatal Fury, King of the Monsters, Ghost Pilots)...

Gee, another gay port.  How fabulous.  How about some original content?  Oh well, another week you won't be seeing any of my money.

Current Paperboy goal:
Get past that second stunt course!
Lets hope it was only harder because I was younger then ;)

As said above, good game but 2 classic ports in a row when theres more interesting content in the pipeline?  A bit disappointing to say the least.

I really hope Worms hasnt been delayed right until March as people have guessed on the Team17 forums.

Oh and Microsoft, how about releasing a DECENT Arcade controller before releasing all these ports.  Arcade games are useless when you are stuck using that poor excuse for a D-pad on the 360 controller.  It lets down the whole XBLA experience in my opinion.  I have bought PacMan but I will not truly enjoy it until I can get an arcade joystick for the 360.  At the very lease improve the D-pad and release a new version of the 360 pad including it, like you improved the old Xbox pad.

Freaking PaperBoy? The previous week it was Beer Tapper and now PaperBoy. I hate to say it but these games were lame even back in the day.  When are you going to start releasing some new games again??

Mr. Porcaro, could you please explain why Korea has been excluded from so many XBOX Live Arcade releases?  Do you guys have marketing surveys that show Koreans don't like rootbeer, or don't know what a paperboy is when deciding not to release games here?  I don't think it should be Midway or Digital Entertainment's fault, since XBOX Live Arcade titles of both have been previously released in Korea.  Similarly, neither Rootbeer Tapper or Paperboy were submitted to (and rejected by) Korea's game ratings board.

Why do you keep so much content withheld from Korea?
