Sign Up Monday for Chance to Join Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta

Starting Monday, Dec. 4, visit http://www.halo3.com, those of you in North America will be able to register for the opportunity to be one of the select members to join the Halo 3 public beta program, scheduled to kick off in spring 2007. This is the first path of entry to participate in the program.  Through the resulting feedback, Bungie Studios will be able to further refine and hone the end result of Halo 3.

The decision to open up multiplayer BETA for H3 is an incredibly smart.

This is going to drive sales of Xbox 360 and Xbox live gold accounts this xmas. In addition, to make this announcment and pique the interest of the gamer via ads on ESPN and MNF shows you all are really doing your homework.

Good luck on the campaign and I hope you all meet your goal of 10 million sold this year. That will basically put you about 9 - 9.5 million ahead of PS3.

All this talk about Global is BULLSHIT because of these things, all your cool and new stuff is "North America only" while we Europeans are always getting games a week or two late and basically get fucked of all great content you guys make.

Now can you please be kind enough to start releasing things simultaniously in the world and not just letting us "PAL" countries get screwed because you decided your little part of the world should have another set of letters on your game boxes; "NTSC"

This probably has to do with some lawyer BS. Maybe since not all of the European Union chooses to enforce copyright law(hey I think that craps gettin a little out of hand here in the US myself ef the MPAA and RIAA I just won't buy your content). Or the costs of shipping is all I can think of right now. Or maybe they just want to hammer out the english version first and work on localized versions later who knows

We also made mention of the Halo 3 Beta (coming some time in 2007) and folks panicked when they saw that a press release mentioned only the US. Don't panic. The Halo 3 Beta will be available in the US, Europe and elsewhere in the world. We'll keep you updated on the detailed specifics as they come in.
