wait, so what's a vision camera?

Is if available yet?  I thought it was releasing on the 19th.  I visited Best Buy, Circuit City, and Toys R Us at noon, and no one had the camera.

I would like to know how I can deny in-game video to spew into my child's UNO game.

Please help me.

SD, the vision cam shipped on the 19th (today). The 20th (tomorrow) is when it will be out. I went to GameStop and GameCrazy and they both told me that.

Thanks!  I tried again today, and still no camera.  Visited all the same stores.  Toys R Us didn't know what I was walking about.  Best Buy said everyone was asking about it, but they didn't receive a shipment for it.  And Circuit City didn't have it on display and all the sales people were busy.

The camera is simply not available where I live (SF Bay area).  I visited 5 stores today, and not a single one had it available.  

GameStop said it shipped "ground" and to try back on Friday.

Electronic Boutique said "we don't have it and not sure when it's coming in"

Best Buy said they didn't know when it was coming in, but they said they had a bunch of inquires and their manager was attempting to find out.

Toys R Us had never heard of the item, but they did go through all their shipments today in an effort to see if it had come in.  They also attempted to locate the item on their website, which pulled up skateboards and shoes, but no 360 camera.

I thought camera available on the 19th meant available for sale on the 19th, not shipped ground to stores on the 19th.  This is highly frustrating.

Same here.  Checked everywhere and everyone looked at me like I was stupid.  I even called 1-800-4MY-XBOX, and they said it was coming out around Christmas..lol! I swear I know more about this damn system than these so called "professionals".  I am very anxious to get my hands on this damn thing asap.

Tell me this. How can a freaking ToysRUs have the cams in hand damn near a month prior to the official release date and 'accidentally' sell them but 2/3 days after the drop date you STILL can't find them at freaking EB/Gamestop/GameCrazy??

Day 3, and I'm unable to locate a camera.

Here's my problem with the announcement.  I thought they said the camera would be released on 19th, which is different than saying it'll be shipped on the 19th.  

The camera, as pointed out earlier, was made available a month ago for select locations, I'm sure in limited quantities as a trial run.

If you were able to ship cameras a month ago, and if you announced the cameras would be available on Sept 19th several months ago, then why don't any stores have the cameras ahead of time?

That some areas have them, while others don't, is simply not acceptable.

Something is amiss.  Why more people aren't complaining about this, I'll never know, but I have noticed disgruntled customers at several of the stores I've visited over the past couple of days, complaining about not being able to locate the camera.

The lack of information is frustrating.  Had I know it wouldn't have been available until Friday or next week, I wouldn't have wasted time every day trying to locate it.

Dear diary...  Day 4, and still no sign of the Vision camera.
Because I'm visiting the same stores so often, I'm now making new friends and learning the intricacies of each stores shipping system.  The women at Toys R Us were especially friendly and accomodating.  I think I'm invited to their company Christmas party.

Does the camera really exist?  Did I have correct release information?  Surly 4 days could have not gone by without a single store carrying the item.  Perhaps I'm losing my mind.  As I was in Toys R Us, I bought a volleyball, named it Wilson, and have taking to coversing with that instead of my friends online.

Day 5.  Good news.  The stores FINALLY received their cameras.  Not sure why it took so long.  I can only imagine they were shipped UPS Ground, 5th class, via courier bicycle directly from Washington.

Oddly, when I played UNO last night, I barely found a game where people didn't have the camera. So they're available, but for some reason the SF Bay area took forever to get their shipments.
