As Greg Canessa pointed out in an interview with Joystiq, Xbox Live Arcade's upcoming Texas Hold ‘Em Poker will be coming soon, and he said something about it not being free.  After talking to the product team to see what the story is, I'm told that specific details regarding the launch of Texas Hold ‘Em Poker have not yet been announced, and it's too early to say anything yet.  I'm told we should stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks. 

Speaking of Texas Hold 'Em Poker, at the Xbox Live Arcade Party we had a few days ago, we were joking around about not only earning achievements for big wins.  I thought it would be good to be able to buy more chips from the cashier by trading in achievements.  I can only imagine some hard core gamblers seeing their gamerscore go from thousands of points down to zero.   Maybe even go into the hole if you meet up with some loan sharks…   Alas, none of that’s going to be part of the game.  That’s why Greg’s in charge of Xbox Live Arcade and not me…
