Microsoft Scores F1 ECU Contract

From ForzaMotorsport.net:
In a press release that rocked the very foundations of the Turn 10 studios today, Microsoft has announced that it has scored an exclusive contract with Formula 1 to be the sole supplier of ECUs (Electronic Control Units that manage the various functions of an engine) for F1 cars starting in 2008 and running through 2010. In related news, Formula 1 also announced that Bridgestone will be the sole supplier of tires for F1 races. The announcement came shortly after the FIA World Motor Sport Council adjourned in Paris this week. According to an article on Speed Network's website, the move to a single ECU and tire supplier is an attempt to introduce a cost-saving package for racing teams. Now, the question, of course, is whether or not these ECUs run on Windows Vista?
Not to be outdone, PitPass.com chronicles their favorite Microsoft jokes, including these:
"The driver for this device is not performing correctly..."
"You seem to be losing track positions, May I help you?"
"Break pedal is not responding and will be shut down. <Close> <Details>"
You get the idea...
