All Aboard the Blogger Bus
"I don't want to cause no fuss, but will you board our blogger bus?"
We're trying something new this year for E3. One of the most frustrating things I've had to deal with as a blogger at events like E3 is finding a spot to get online and upload blog posts, photos to Flickr, audio clips, whatever. I always end up having to do it at the end of the day, from my hotel, after attending meetings, or group dinners, or parties.
So we thought one of the best things we could do is to help you get online, because we know you have community members counting on you to get the word back to them as soon as you can.
Problem is, booth space is at a premium so we couldn't do it on the show floor, and we didn't want to have a spot in the middle of nowhere. So, we commandeered a parking spot right out front of the convention center, where we'll park the first ever Microsoft Community Bus.

We don't want a bunch of folks hanging out just to check email, so we're limiting access to bloggers, podcasters, active forum posters, and Microsoft MVPs. I hope to see a lot of the official E3 Xbox Live MSN Spaces bloggers, and even Elle, Trixie and Major Nelson.
We don't want to get all corporate and snobby about it, but there's a chance things will get crowded. So who gets access? You really need to be an active community member or blogger. This means having an active blog that has regularly posted about videogames in the past few months, or community members who are actively participating in discussions within their respective community.
If you're going to E3, and you don't hear from us directly next week, send me email with a link to your blog/forum/fan site, and we'll get you on the list (or politely decline).
We'll be hanging out at the bus a lot (when we're not inside the convention center drooling over new games), so whether you come by to get online or not, please stop by and say hey!

(edit: added Elle, how could I forget?!)
