Xbox LIVE has already proven an undeniable gauge of the youth vote in this historic election, polling nearly 100,000 members of the Xbox LIVE community  and providing a lens into the political mindset of an important and engaged group of citizens. Now, as Americans count down to the moment of a generation, Xbox LIVE is providing a vehicle for millions to make their voices heard. Continuing its partnership with Rock the Vote, beginning today Xbox LIVE will conduct a second poll, giving its members a chance to speak their minds on the most important issues facing them, their families and their country. The results will be submitted on behalf of Xbox 360 to the Obama and McCain camps:

  • Education and Cost of Schooling
  • Environment and Global Warming
  • Gas Prices
  • Healthcare
  • Iraq
  • Jobs and the Economy

As registration deadlines across the country draw near, Microsoft also continues its landmark effort to help register new voters using the power of the LIVE community. To date more than 65,000 registration forms have been distributed, and half a million pieces of election-specific content downloaded – nearly equal to the population of Washington D.C.
